How SPM88 works
Build a team, field your best 11, and climb the leaderboards through the 2026 World Cup — 48 nations, June–July 2026.
Build your squad
Your team owns one 25-card squad, built by buying the exact player cards you want in the store — no packs, no chance. Card prices scale with a player's rating.
- 16 cards from your home nation (the country you set at signup).
- 9 cards from any other nation.
Field your matchday 11
From your 25, choose 11 starters (the rest are your bench). Your starting 11 locks the moment that matchday's first match kicks off, then you're free to change it for the next one. Only the players you field score that matchday.
How your team scores
Your team score is a 50/50 blend — each half ranked 0–100 against every team, then averaged:
Card points (on the pitch). Your fielded 11 score on the bookings they pick up in their real matches. The dirtiest, busiest lineup wins this half.
Card points per booking
| Event | Points |
|---|---|
| Yellow card | +66 |
| Red card | +131 |
Joga Bonito (from the crowd). The other half. Share original football content; every community upvote earns you tokens and lifts your team's Joga Bonito score.
Leaderboards
Teams are ranked 0–100 on your country board (your home nation) and the worldwide board. Both halves of the score are ranked against every team, so a partial squad still scores — but a full, well-fielded one climbs faster.
Joining mid-tournament
The World Cup is already underway, and that's fine — matches are scored from when they're synced, so everyone climbs from the same live table. Late joiners can still win.
Fair play & data
Match data — results, line-ups and cards — is synced automatically from public match-data feeds. If a correction comes through, every affected total recalculates automatically. Joga Bonito content is moderated before it goes live.
