Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about SPM88, the free fantasy manager for the 2026 World Cup. Can't find yours? Check the rules or the token explainer.
Is SPM88 free to play?
Yes. Sign up, build a squad with your free signup tokens, field your 11 and compete on the leaderboards at no cost. Buying extra player cards is optional — and you can top up tokens by card or crypto if you choose — but you never have to pay to play.
What are SPM88 tokens?
SPM88 tokens are the in-game currency. Every new manager gets free tokens at signup, and you earn more through daily logins, Trivia, Beef and Joga Bonito. You spend them in the store to buy the player cards that make up your squad. You can also top up by card or crypto, and gift tokens to other managers.
Are SPM88 tokens worth real money?
Tokens have an in-game value shown in the app, and a portion — the part you bought with real money, plus any referral commission — is withdrawable on-chain once you've verified your age. Tokens earned through gameplay are for in-game use only. Tokens are not an investment, and we make no promises about future value.
When is the blockchain / wallet integration coming?
It's live. You can link a Polygon wallet and withdraw eligible tokens on-chain, and top up your balance with USDC. Your full balance is always tracked safely inside SPM88.
How do I build my team?
You build a 25-card squad — 16 players from your home nation and 9 from anywhere — by buying the exact player cards you want in the store. Then you choose which 11 to start each matchday. Your starting 11 locks when that matchday's first match kicks off, and you're free to change it for the next one.
How does scoring work?
Your team score is a 50/50 blend, with each half ranked 0–100 against every team. Half comes from the pitch — your fielded 11 score on the bookings they pick up in their real matches (66 per yellow, 131 per red). Half comes from Joga Bonito — community upvotes on the original football content your team posts.
My country isn't in the World Cup. Can I still play?
Yes. If your country isn't one of the 48 nations, just choose a supported nation as your home — that's where 16 of your 25 cards come from, and it's the country leaderboard you compete on. The other 9 cards can be from any nation.
My country IS in the World Cup. What happens?
It becomes your home nation automatically (we suggest it from your location, and you can change it). 16 of your 25 squad cards come from it, and you appear on its country leaderboard as well as the worldwide board.
The tournament has already started — is it too late to join?
Not at all. Matches are scored from when they're synced, so late joiners compete on the same live leaderboards as everyone else and can still win. Join anytime, climb from today.
How is match data sourced?
Match data — results, line-ups and cards — is synced automatically from public match-data feeds, and scores recalculate if a correction comes through.
What comes after the World Cup?
World Cup 2026 is just the kickoff. Dota 2 is next on the roadmap, followed by more sports and esports.
Who is behind SPM88?
SPM88 is built and operated by Loopmeback, its parent company.
Is SPM88 affiliated with FIFA?
No. SPM88 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIFA in any way. We use "World Cup" purely as descriptive text and use no official logos, trademarks, or imagery.
