Is SPM88 free to play?
Yes — completely free. Sign up, pick your teams, and compete on the leaderboards at no cost. You even get 1,000 SPM88 tokens free at signup. Token purchases may arrive in later stages, but playing the World Cup 2026 manager costs nothing.
What are SPM88 tokens?
SPM88 tokens are the in-game currency of SPM88. Every new manager receives 1,000 tokens free at signup. They're planned to power future features like team upgrades, entry to premium modes, and a marketplace.
Are SPM88 tokens worth real money?
No — not currently. Tokens have no monetary value today. They live on an off-chain ledger inside SPM88, and any future on-chain or purchase functionality will be announced clearly before it launches.
When is the blockchain / wallet integration coming?
Soon. Wallet linking and an on-chain claim for your tokens are in development. Token purchases come in a later stage, after legal review. Until then, your balance is safely tracked in SPM88.
Can I change my picks?
Yes — you can change your Classic and Turbo picks freely until picks lock. Picks lock at admin-announced deadlines, and reopen when announced. Your home team (if your country is playing in the World Cup) is fixed automatically and can't be changed.
My country isn't in the World Cup. Can I still play?
Absolutely. In Classic mode you simply pick one team from the 48 in the tournament, and that team scores for you. In Turbo mode everyone picks one team regardless of nationality.
My country IS in the World Cup. What happens?
Your national team is automatically your team in Classic mode — and you pick one more team from the field as well. Both teams score for you, so you get two sources of points.
What is Turbo mode?
Turbo is chaos mode. You pick one team, and only cards count: 66 points per yellow card, 131 per red. The dirtiest team wins, and the more points your turbo team scores, the higher its worth.
The tournament has already started — is it too late to join?
Not at all. Matches are scored from when they're entered, so late joiners compete on the same live leaderboards as everyone else and can still win. Join anytime, climb from today.
How is match data sourced?
All scoring data — results, goals, cards, saves, shots, tackles, and fouls — is entered by SPM88 officials from public match data. Corrections recalculate every affected score automatically.
What comes after the World Cup?
World Cup 2026 is just the kickoff. Dota 2 is next on the roadmap, followed by more sports and esports.
